Integrated heat fins—in combination with a unique “breatheable” membrane to prevents dust-ingress—ensures optimal thermo-regulation for long-term operating reliability.
In combination with the Alpha Reflector, the NXT2 delivers a wide field of illumination to produce industry-leading uniformity—enabling growers to achieve optimum light intensity, evenly across the surface of the crop, with fewer light fixtures.
Given the dimensional nature of taller crops, directing light deep within the canopy to reach the lower leaves is typically a challenge. The NXT2 with Beta Reflector delivers a more focused field of illumination between 0 & 45 degrees in the lower hemisphere, producing uniformly deep light penetration into the canopy below, with a phenomenal efficiency* of 93.5%.

The product is meant for use in climate controlled rooms. The product may be used in damp environments. The product may not be used in wet environments or outdoors. PL Light Systems’ double-ended HID luminaires function optimally when the ambient temperature is between 20 ~ 30 °Celsius.
Luminaires warrantied for four (4) years; electronic drivers four (4) years; HPS Lamps four (4) years or 10,000 burning hours, whichever comes first. Complete system four (4) year warranty period applies to product configurations with factory standard P.L. Light Systems’ ballast ONLY. Warranty period may vary for configurations with ballast and/or lamp by other manufacturers.
