Light technology for potted plants

The light requirements of potted plants can differ between cultivation stages. Therefore, the light treatment of the plants needs to be properly aligned to the plants’ growth stage: root formation, leaf pairs, internode length, flower stalk, bud formation and blooming period.

What light level for what potted plant?

Dendrobium
Light level between 130 and 260 µmol/m², depending on the cultivation stage: nursery, cooling, finishing and sorting areas.

Bromelia
Light level between 40 and 60 µmol/m²

Anthurium
Light level between 60 and 80 µmol/m²

Kalanchoë
Light level between 60 and 105 µmol/m²

Potted chrysanthemum
Light level between 40 and 60 µmol/m²

Potted rose
Light level between 40 and 60 µmol/m²
